The Business Excellence Awards are produced by the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce and are presented by WOW Factor Media. 

The MJBEX Awards are open to all businesses, except Crown Corporations and the City of Moose Jaw. To be eligible for a category, the nominee must not have won a MJBEX Award in that category in the previous two years.   Nominees may submit their own nominations or third parties may submit the nomination. The nominee must agree to all third party nominations.

The business may submit a nomination in a maximum of two categories from the MJBEX Award categories.
