Description
The Achievement for Business Excellence Award for Business Leader of the Year is awarded to an individual who exemplifies the qualities of the business visionary. This person has shown outstanding success in business or industry through the development of a new process, product or service or for meaningful contributions to the local business community. Without imagination and a willingness to take risks, many of the innovative products and valuable services in today's marketplace would not exist. The Business Leader takes a vision and turns it into a profitable reality. Primary emphasis will be given to outstanding leadership attributes including an ethical business practice, a record of outstanding corporate citizenship, a proven record of business accomplishments and a commitment to the highest standards of management.

Description
The Achievement for Business Excellence Award for Business of the Year This award winner is presented to one of tonight's nominees. It is awarded to a business that demonstrates overall success, judged according to certain financial criteria, growth, use of capital investment, exceptional performance in exporting goods, job creation, stability or community involvement.

Description
The award recognizes a locally owned and operated business that has earned an engaged and loyal following from the community/customers. Online customer voting will take place the week prior to the MJBEX Gala.

Description
This award is designed to recognize pillar and cornerstone business leaders in Moose Jaw & District who have demonstrated excellence over an extended period of time and whose business has contributed to the economic well-being of Moose Jaw and district. The business must have been in continuous operation for at least fifteen (15) years.
